Saint Seiya myth cloth zeta syd review
Since we started looking at the Asgard line we have the many reviews of figures are great. And now we have a great figure in front of us. The Saint Seiya myth cloth Zeta Mizar cloth from Bandai. As you all know this figure is one of twins of the saber tooth tigers. One is dark green and the other is a white silver color. As we watched the Asgard series we didn’t really get too much back story on these characters until the battle vs. the saints. But none the less all the figures of the Asgard series looked great. Now let’s review this figure.
This cloth is a book style kind of package and on the front of the box you see the figure itself and his animated form, the Bandai logo on the right corner, and the Toei sticker on the left upper corner. The box is a classic Asgard box with a dark blue color surrounding the box. This represents the sky color at night and it has constellations on top of the box. On the side of the box it says saint cloth myth and on the bottom it says zeta robe. On the back of the box we have the figure in many poses and showing his claws for hands. We also see the two types of helmets this figure has one without open jaw and one with a close jaw. It also shows you the saber tooth tiger object mode which is dark green color. Inside of the box we have a standard two sided window package and on the trims on top it says god warrior and on the bottom it says Syd. Now we’re gonna look at the package inside.
On the left side we have the figure itself and part of the cloth and you have two pairs of hands on this side as well. We also have a red cape on the back of this plate as well. On the right side we have most of the object mode skeleton and some parts of the cloth. We also have other six pairs of hands which makes a total of eight pairs of hands which is enough for me. We also have the instruction Manual on this side. On the instruction Manual you see there are a lot of instructions of how to make the object mode. There are not a lot of the instructions for the figure mode itself. But now let’s make the object mode and see how it looks.
Looking at the object mode we could see a great representation of the saber tooth tiger. The build is not that hard and the instructions were easy to follow. In standard this figure should take your no more than 15 minutes to complete and build the object mode. You get the object mode it has a dark green with a little bit of light green inside the parts which gives it a dynamic look. The fans are chrome silver and it has the addition of fangs to the helmet making them longer for the object mode. Looking at the object more you cannot really tell the skeleton from the cloth which is a great point when building an object mode. The figure looks like a saber tooth tiger ready to pounce on you. So the object mode itself gets an automatic 10. It has a great dynamic look and a great feel to it. But now it’s time to review the figure itself.
As you build the figure itself if you have built myth cloth before most of the parts go in their respective places. All the arms and all the legs are die cast metal and the chest die cast metal. The waist is plastic but the skirts are die cast metal. The helmet is plastic and the shoulders are a combination of die cast metal and plastic which gives it a great feel. Overall this figure solid, it has a great face sculpture and looks as plain as the anime. The only hard part and a very weird gimmick is that his ponytail attaches to the helmet. Which in most cases the ponytail attaches to the neck. This was a challenge for me as you could see on the pictures that the tail wouldn’t stay on the helmet. But after many tries I was able to keep the tail on the helmet. The red cape gives it a great look to the dark green saber tooth tiger of the figure. Overall the figure feels great and the sculpture is perfect. And the representation of this figure from the anime is a perfect match.
As you could see from beauty and posed ability this figure gets an automatic 10. Even though this could be not one of your favorite Asgard figures, this is still a great figure. From the beauty to the sculpture to the great amount of pose ability this figure is great. The dull colors makes with a light green and the red cape makes it one major display for your collection. The amount of hands it has from hands with claws two hands with no claws you has a major variety of choices of how to display this figure. Overall this figure is a must buy for any Saint Seiya fan.
I want to thank Ishop2go again for letting me review this figure and remember everybody go out and buy it.
