Pisces Aphodite Review

Beauty, excellence and perfection, those are the first things you think when you think of Pisces Aphrodite.  The self-proclaimed most beautiful man alive is now on figure for use to enjoy from the gold saints of saint seiya. This was made in 2006 which was the first year Bandai started to perfect there figures sculpture to look like the anime, and this figure is one of the most perfected figures in that year.
As we take a look at the box, we see that the box display is like the old saint seiya myth with the picture of the character in anime from and the picture of the completed cloth on the side.  On the side of the box we see the figures zodiac sign and it’s says saint cloth myth and on the bottom it says Pisces cloth.  On the back you see Pisces doing his signature move which is royal demon rose, and they show you many ways to pose the figure, they show you the exchangeable roses and faces this figure has and they show you the figure with and without the helmet.  The package is a book style kind of package and when you open the box you see a window display, showing the figure and the object skeleton on the figure. On the top on the edge it says gold saint and on the bottom it says Aphrodite like most myth cloth that have come out on that year.  But it’s now to see the figure more in person.

As we take the plates out of the box we see Plate A or the left side of the box.  We see the figure its self and most of the cloth parts.  This figure has a total of 8 hands with two hands that can hold roses.  The figure also shows different hair styles for one with the helmet on and one without it.  As my personal opinion he came out without the hair most of the time he was a gold saint so I’m going to display him that way.  On side B, you see most of the skeleton for the object mode, some parts for the cloth like the waist and the base for the object mode.  The instructions are very simple and very straight forward in explanation with simple numbered instructions.  It also comes with a light purple cape for the figure with the instructions, a nice touch by Bandai.  And now it is time to put the figure in its object mode.

The first thing I noticed on this figure is that it is the first figure that used all the parts of the cloth to do the object mode.  Almost both plates are empty when I did the object mode in exception of the hands and faces and hairs.  You use the helmet, shoulders, and even the skirt on the figure; it is a great, very well placed parts on the object mode that made it a pleasure to build.  The object mode looks very solid and it’s a bit heavy as well.  The base of the object mode has a Pisces sign on it and a great figure.  A lot of object modes don’t have this feature to make the cloth use all the parts, then some of the gold saint cloth forms look very naked you can say. But this figure is the exception to the cause, every part is used and it looks great.  But now it’s time to put this figure on its human form

As what you expect of Aphrodite you get, the head sculpture is great and very beautiful, the hair is dynamic as it can be and the armor uses 2 tones of gold. A lot of the cloth is die cast metal with the exception of the waist, the hands, and the helmet.  The figure looks perfect and a bit short to keep in in scale with the other gold saints.  The face is what gets me the most, the attention to detail is magnificent with just a bit of pink on the lips, and it’s perfect.  It’s like staring at the real person in the face, well the animation great design and great features.  It’s not that heavy in human form, and articulation is not disturbed in any way.  It is a great figure to see with your
eyes.

From perfection to excellence, the thing you think about when they say Aphrodite is what you get, pure perfection.  The way the face comes out like its alive and the way the figure looks very classy, you are getting yourself a great gold saint.  I give this figure a perfect 10 but if I could I could give it a 20, it’s that good.  You won’t regret this buy because I didn’t and it’s perfect as you can see yourself.
