Saint Seiya myth cloth Pegasus Seiya appendix plain clothing

Pegasus Seiya Plain Clothes
Pegasus Seiya Plain Clothes
Pegasus Seiya Plain Clothes

A lot of the series in saint Seiya we see Pegasus Seiya in his plain clothing and is one of the most memorable moments of the saint Seiya history when he goes into battle. We always see him with his red shirt and a lot of people love this fact about seiya. Now with the new appendix that Bandai produced we have those fantasies come true. But now let’s look at the box.

The box is a standard appendix box, it is gray color with a tone of strong and light grays. On the front of the box we see the animated form of Seiya, you see the figure itself with all his clothing and the Pandora’s box of the cloth. You also see in the front in miniature size Pegasus object mode. You could say this a book style kind of package but it is not. It only has a flap in the front that you could open to see the window display of the figure. On the side of the box it says saint cloth myth appendix Pegasus Seiya plain clothes. The back of the box we see Pegasus Seiya doing the pose and him having the Pandora’s box on his back. And that’s basically it for the box.

As we look in the inside of the package we see the figure itself with four sets of hands, one pandora’s box, and four straps. The instructions are very simple and very easy to follow with only a one page length of instructions. This cloth only has one plate and very simple due to the fact that the figure does not mean armor. As like in the back of the box we also see the miniature object mode and the plate as well. So as you can see not a lot of parts on this figure so let you do the figure itself.

So looking at the Pandora’s box it is made of plastic. We also see the local cloth of Pegasus sign on the front of the box and it has some handles when he’s carrying it. The box is a chrome gray and the detail on the box is great. Looking at the miniature object mode there’s a lot of detail on this figure. From the amount of color eyes to the yellow on some parts it is a great replica of the actual size object mode. Now we’re moving on with the figure and looking at this figure the sculpture on the face is great. I have stated this point many times the figures face makes it or breaks it. This figures face is tremendous and the amount of detail it went to the face is gorgeous. It has captured the innocence of Seiya in figure form. As you look into the figure eyes, for some reason this figure looks real. The amount of detail it went on his clothing is great as well. Pants and shirt are made of this rough cloth that is very doable. On the front of the box you could see that the clothing fits very well with the figure. But as you see your copy when you have it in your hands the clothing is a little bit loose but not a lot. The amount of detail when his arms and shoes is great and especially on shoes. Overall I give this figure a perfect 10. There are some things that was really disappointing and that’s that the figure cannot support his box. Like on the back of the box you could see Pegasus Seiya holding his cloth box on his shoulders and he was able to stand. I have tried this pose many times but of the box is too heavy for the figure. It would’ve been a nice touch if the figure was able to hold the box but that’s why they give you a stand connector to support the box.

This figure is great in many ways but what took me away were the face sculpture and the clothing. The amount of love it went to this appendix and the little details is what counts the most. Would’ve been nice if he was able to hold the box, but is not bad after all. Like this at this figure gets an automatic 10 and you should go buy it today.

I would like to thank I Ishop2go for letting me review this figure and remember everybody go out and buy it.

Saint Seiya Myth Cloth God of Death Thanatos Review

God of Death Thanatos picture01
God of Death Thanatos picture02
God of Death Thanatos picture03

From the time we saw those last episodes of saint seiya, to now after 20 or more years, the characters that came out of 2 or 3 episodes were Hypnos and Thanatos. As you know Hypnos is the god of sleep, and Thanatos is the God of Death. Together they protect the entrance to the chamber of the body of hades. Even though this character did not come out as much as one could ask for, they did make a great impression on the Saint Seiya Community as a whole. And today we are going to review this figure for everyone to enjoy.

The box is way bigger than a standard saint seiya box and in the front you see the figure itself, the animated form and the object mode all in the front. The Bandai logo on the corner, and the toei sticker of its respective manufacturing region; On the side of the box we see it says “Saint Cloth Myth” and on the bottom it says “Thanatos”. The back of the box we see the figure playing his harp and with his robe on. A great diorama display for Thanatos here and you have many poses of the figure, the object mode, and the different stuff you can put on the figure. When you open the package you see is a 2 sided window package and on the top of the trim it says “God who controls death” and on the bottom trim it says “Thanatos”. Overall this figure is looking great and now we are going to see the package inside.

The inside of the package is very interesting we have the figure and the cloth parts on the left side, with the instruction manual and the cloth robe on this figure. On the right side of the package we have most of the skeleton of the object mode and the big wings of the character on a different plate. The skeleton on the object mode looks more of a human form instead of some sort of bird, which will make the object mode build faster to make. Now let’s review the object mode.

As I suspected the object mode is very easy to build and very fast, it has a human form of the object mode and every part of the cloth goes on this object mode. The object mode is massive in size and very well made. The object mode weight is very well supported with a star stand the figure comes with and the wings don’t make this figure heavy at all in this object mode. Very well balanced and the colors look great with a dark night blue color going all over the cloth. Overall the object review he gets a 10 for great sculpture and effort.

Now that we finished the object mode review, it is now time to review the figure itself. When you put the parts on this figure, you can see it is very fast build even for a god cloth. If you have built saint seiya figures in the past, this should be a piece of cake. Most of the parts of this cloth are die cast metal in exception to the waist, the skirt parts, the shoulders, head, and the wings. The legs, arms, chest and feet are all die cast metal. The wings of this character make him very top heavy, but with the Hong Kong edition, it is not really an issue. I have reviewed the Latin American version before and the ankles of that figure were tremendously loose and the figure does the splits from time to time. But not this one, this one has solid ankles and very stable to pose with no stand at all. This figure also comes with a white robe for you to put him on with only the robe and his harp. The robe is made of very nice textures and it’s very well made. The wings are great and look magnificent. If you get each wing, you can see that each one of the wings moves, which is a great idea by Bandai. Overall this figure gets an automatic 10. Some people say this figure is a 9 and I cannot disagree with them. The most major problem I can see with this figure is the weight of the wings, but depending on what version you have that problem can be avoided.

So the two gods that made the saint seiya crew cry and almost die are in figure form now. The great sculpture and the attention to detail make this figure one that a collector must buy right now. The colors and the face sculpture are made to perfection and its one of the best god cloths out right now. All of the god cloths are good but between Hypnos and Thanatos, most people say Thanatos is the best of them.

I want to thank ishop2go for letting me review this figure and remember…. GO OUT AND BUY IT!!!

Saint Seiya Myth Cloth Meiou Hades Review

Hades
Since I started watching Saint Seiya as a kid, I always wanted hades in my collection. Most of the god cloths were a dream around the 1990’s, and the the myth cloth at the time were big chunks of metal that looked like figures of metal and brick. How far we have come to this moment, from childhood to adulthood, I still remember those days. Now in 2011 we have most of the god cloths, and for every Saint Seiya fan out there, this new figure of Bandai is a dream come true. No matter how long it has been, if you ever loved Saint Seiya as a kid, you will fall in love with this figure

Hades

When I got this figure, the first thing you can see is the box. If you have been collecting saint seiya for a long time you can tell this box is very slim and not as fat as most of the hades god cloths. If you want to compare size you could compare it with the phoenix ikke god cloth box. With an almost 12 inch long display, 8 inch tall and almost 6 inches deep box, this box is one of the most slim god cloths out there. The box color is new to the hades line, making this the only box that has dark gray box cover, almost charcoal black for the box. Still it should be different cause this is one of the main characters of the store, like Athena in the story, they should have different boxes to show how important they are. The box art is great, with a good shot of hades in the front of the box and his animated form, im glad the box art in the front is great. The same you can say with the box art in the back. A lot of the backs in the Myth Cloth line have a lot of words in the back and explain about object mode and all the good stuff, not this one. It shows you a lot of pictures and little words, letting the images do the talking and they do that very well. Great Box layout overall.

When you open the package, the first thing you can see is the beauty of this figure, side A or the right side has most of the figures parts accessories. It also comes with a cape and the instruction manual for the figure. And also on side A you get the main base for the figure and object mode. As I have been telling you, it has a basic setup on the plate but as soon as you see the figure you will see the love you immediately start to have for it. It’s very well done. On side be on the plate and the package of the figure, you can see you have most of the object mode parts, you have the extra Seiya head and the extra god cloth Seiya chest piece. You have almost 3 types of swords, one for the object mode and 2 for the figure, they look incredible non the less. The package was great, so I decided to built the object mode and find out how it looked

To built this object mode you must have a lot of love and patience for this figure, it took more then 30 minutes to make this figure come to life. The instruction manual is color coded but some parts are hard to find on the manual and they got rid of the number system they had been using for so long to explain the structure of the figure. As you assemble it you will notice the great engineering it took to make this figure, it was a great object mode. When I was done finishing the object mode, I was in awww.

It was more than 10 inches tall, very stable and the most beautiful object mode I have ever seen. The pegs on the bottom of the legs are so stable that the figure didn’t need anything else to support the massive wings and heavy body. It was a great figure overall. It took my breath away and if I was a spending man, I would buy another hades figure just to have the object mode. It was so great, it was so stable, and it was so breathtaking you just wanted to keep it in that form. But as every good thing I wanted to build the figure now.

Hades

When I started to build the figure, you can tell how beautiful it was, the face is made to perfection, the hair is so nice and dynamic, and the armor is so much different than anything out there. And when you are done assembling the figure, you’re left in aww again. They give you many accessories like an extra head with its eyes closed; an extra hair for you can fit it with the helmet, Extra parts for the arms, and so many variations of the sword. It was great, the figure stands a great 8 inches tall, and it is very massive in size. One thing I did notice was that when it was fully armored I started having weight issues with the figure, started falling down and tilting over. So as this figure is concerned, this figure requires a base to stand on. The package itself has a base for the figure and easy instructions on how to put the base to the figure, it was very easy and the weight issues were gone. This figure is not made to have dynamic poses, but it’s a great figure to admire when it’s on your shelf. Most of this armor is die cast metal for the exception of the wings, the waist parts and parts of the chest. Overall this figure is very heavy but its great figure overall. The bonus they give you like the Seiya head and the chest piece for Seiya god cloth is a good touch, and they are made to perfection as well. I was very happy with this figure over all.

Hades

Overall I have a great experience making this figure; it was a very interesting build and a very interesting and beautiful experience. You might have a lot of weight issues with this figure and some falling parts but if you don’t move it that often and use the stand Bandai provided you with, I think you will be ok to display it. From dynamic colors of black and silver, to the great and beautiful sculpture of the figures face, this figure is a perfect representation of the hades I remember when I was a child. It feels like I’m looking at hades in my own home and its just a feeling that the wait of so many years for this figure, is finally paid of. I give this a 10 out of 10 review. It is an exceptional figure for the price.

I also want to thank Ishop2go for letting me review this great figure. I totally recommend it so go out and buy it.

Since we started looking at the Asgard line we have the many reviews of figures are great. And now we have a great figure in front of us. The Saint Seiya myth cloth Zeta Mizar cloth from Bandai. As you all know this figure is one of twins of the saber tooth tigers. One is dark green and the other is a white silver color. As we watched the Asgard series we didn’t really get too much back story on these characters until the battle vs. the saints. But none the less all the figures of the Asgard series looked great. Now let’s review this figure.

This cloth is a book style kind of package and on the front of the box you see the figure itself and his animated form, the Bandai logo on the right corner, and the Toei sticker on the left upper corner. The box is a classic Asgard box with a dark blue color surrounding the box. This represents the sky color at night and it has constellations on top of the box. On the side of the box it says saint cloth myth and on the bottom it says zeta robe. On the back of the box we have the figure in many poses and showing his claws for hands. We also see the two types of helmets this figure has one without open jaw and one with a close jaw. It also shows you the saber tooth tiger object mode which is dark green color. Inside of the box we have a standard two sided window package and on the trims on top it says god warrior and on the bottom it says Syd. Now we’re gonna look at the package inside.

On the left side we have the figure itself and part of the cloth and you have two pairs of hands on this side as well. We also have a red cape on the back of this plate as well. On the right side we have most of the object mode skeleton and some parts of the cloth. We also have other six pairs of hands which makes a total of eight pairs of hands which is enough for me. We also have the instruction Manual on this side. On the instruction Manual you see there are a lot of instructions of how to make the object mode. There are not a lot of the instructions for the figure mode itself. But now let’s make the object mode and see how it looks.

Looking at the object mode we could see a great representation of the saber tooth tiger. The build is not that hard and the instructions were easy to follow. In standard this figure should take your no more than 15 minutes to complete and build the object mode. You get the object mode it has a dark green with a little bit of light green inside the parts which gives it a dynamic look. The fans are chrome silver and it has the addition of fangs to the helmet making them longer for the object mode. Looking at the object more you cannot really tell the skeleton from the cloth which is a great point when building an object mode. The figure looks like a saber tooth tiger ready to pounce on you. So the object mode itself gets an automatic 10. It has a great dynamic look and a great feel to it. But now it’s time to review the figure itself.

As you build the figure itself if you have built myth cloth before most of the parts go in their respective places. All the arms and all the legs are die cast metal and the chest die cast metal. The waist is plastic but the skirts are die cast metal. The helmet is plastic and the shoulders are a combination of die cast metal and plastic which gives it a great feel. Overall this figure solid, it has a great face sculpture and looks as plain as the anime. The only hard part and a very weird gimmick is that his ponytail attaches to the helmet. Which in most cases the ponytail attaches to the neck. This was a challenge for me as you could see on the pictures that the tail wouldn’t stay on the helmet. But after many tries I was able to keep the tail on the helmet. The red cape gives it a great look to the dark green saber tooth tiger of the figure. Overall the figure feels great and the sculpture is perfect. And the representation of this figure from the anime is a perfect match.

As you could see from beauty and posed ability this figure gets an automatic 10. Even though this could be not one of your favorite Asgard figures, this is still a great figure. From the beauty to the sculpture to the great amount of pose ability this figure is great. The dull colors makes with a light green and the red cape makes it one major display for your collection. The amount of hands it has from hands with claws two hands with no claws you has a major variety of choices of how to display this figure. Overall this figure is a must buy for any Saint Seiya fan.

I want to thank Ishop2go again for letting me review this figure and remember everybody go out and buy it.
